Get answers to common questions about Eye Brow Waxing.
Most clients enjoy results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular maintenance every four to six weeks keeps the shape consistent and prevents noticeable overgrowth between appointments.
You may feel a quick, mild sting when hairs are removed, but waxing is brief. Technicians minimize discomfort by holding the skin taut and using proper technique; avoid caffeine beforehand and breathe steadily to reduce sensitivity.
We recommend a patch test for very sensitive skin at least 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid waxing if you’re using retinoids, have recent chemical peels, open lesions, or active sunburn; consult our esthetician for alternatives.
Allow brow hair to grow about 1/8–1/4 inch so wax can grip effectively. Come with clean, makeup-free brows, avoid exfoliants or retinol for 48 hours, and discuss your desired shape during the consultation.
After waxing, avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise, and makeup on the area for 24 hours. Apply a soothing gel or aloe as recommended, and gently exfoliate after 48 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Waxing removes hair but doesn’t permanently alter follicles. Consistent professional shaping can influence the perceived direction and fullness, while over-waxing may thin brows; we prioritize conservative shaping to maintain natural density.
