Typically results last three to six weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hairs. Individual results vary; schedule adjustments may be recommended for best maintenance.
You may feel brief stinging during waxing, but most clients tolerate it well. Our technicians use pre-treatment soothing products, quick techniques, and post-wax cooling gels to minimize discomfort. Communicate sensitivity for adjustments and we’ll tailor pressure and pace.
Trim hair to about quarter inch if too long, avoid shaving for at least two weeks, exfoliate gently days before, and arrive clean without heavy lotions. Inform us of medications or skin conditions to ensure safe, effective waxing.
Yes. Avoid hot baths, saunas, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Apply a calming gel or lotion we provide, exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and refrain from sun exposure on the area for at least 48 hours.
Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs, especially with coarse or curly hair. Prevent them by exfoliating gently two to three times weekly, moisturizing, and using recommended serums. If recurring, ask about professional treatments or alternative hair-removal plans.
Many clients have safe waxing during pregnancy, but consult your provider first. Positioning and comfort adjustments are made for later trimesters. You can wax during menstruation but may be more sensitive; scheduling around symptom comfort is recommended.
