Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Parafango Body Wrap.

During a Parafango Body Wrap you’ll have a quick consultation, skin cleansing, application of paraffin and sea mud, warm wrap, and a rest period. Sessions typically include a rinse and moisturizer, lasting about sixty to ninety minutes.

Most adults are good candidates for a Parafango treatment. However, it’s not recommended for pregnant clients, people with open wounds, severe circulatory problems, uncontrolled hypertension, or known allergies to paraffin or mud ingredients. Consult your therapist or physician.

Many clients notice smoother, softer skin immediately; results typically last several days to two weeks. Regular treatments or a short series intensify and prolong benefits. Home hydration, exfoliation, and sun protection help maintain the effects longer.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding require caution. We generally advise avoiding Parafango in the first trimester and recommend consulting your obstetrician. Some spas postpone this treatment entirely during pregnancy; alternatives like gentle hydration wraps can be recommended instead.

Mild warmth, temporary redness, or slight dehydration are common and resolve within hours. Rarely clients experience irritation or sensitivity from ingredients. Drink water after your session and contact us immediately if you experience severe pain, blistering, or prolonged irritation.

Arrive well hydrated and avoid heavy lotions or perfumes before your appointment. Do not shave directly beforehand if possible, and disclose medical conditions or medications. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and allow time to relax after the treatment.
